'Official Identity' was a year-long body of work achieving 1st Class Honours in Printmaking at the Canberra School of Art in 1999.  The work was based on 'individual' and 'group' identity within the context of bureaucratic documentation and ethnic profiling.

By using a range of documents, stationary and classification devices, I referenced the restrictive nature of such stereotyping. In our modern age, our existence seems to be increasingly determined by forms, documents and numbers.

My work makes comment on the ironic similarities between the ephemeral nature of our existence and the flimsy quality of the documents that dictate our lives.
