I've been using this image for a while in my Japanese woodblock work but I thought I would give in a revamp as part of preparations for a multiple colour class. Without carving too many blocks and causing RSI, I thought I would play with just two blocks - a flower image & a rectangle. Love to hear what you think!
Three colours! Splotchy yellow background courtesy of pigment picked up by a dry rag.
A bit fuzzy...paper too damp here!
Acid yellow...looks surprisingly ok, I think. It's that magical washi paper - makes any print look lovely!
